Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

I am sure he would be there as much as he could, and it isnt like he wouldnt be able to travel to where he had to be withing a couple hours, so unless his child is born in a 6 hour or so period of 6 or 7 days I don't think this will be an issue, and if he misses that actual birth he will be there soon after...

Per Dan Patrick on ESPN radio.
" Lebron James Legacy will be determined in part by how well the Cavs do in this playoff"
What kind of crap is this? James is new to the league yet and Dan is worried about his "legacy". I guess it's not new to the ESPN talking heads.
Some advice Dan , don't worry about a legacy until a player is at least a bona fida superstar or is a veteran.
I bet if James had Jordans teams he would be considered a God by now.

LeBron is a daddy.
Toledo Blade
CLEVELAND -- LeBron James' girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, gave birth early Thursday to the couple's second son, Bryce Maximus James.

Keith Estabrook, a spokesman for the Cleveland Cavaliers star and his family, said Bryce weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. He was born at 12:51 a.m. at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, near his father's hometown of Akron.

"Savannah and the baby are healthy and doing well," Estabrook said.

The boy was born as the Cavaliers prepared to host the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA finals Thursday night. The Spurs are one win from a four-game sweep.

The 22-year-old James and his girlfriend had their first child, LeBron James Jr., in October 2004.

I wonder if the "maximus" is appropriate?

It's just a middle name. I like it personally. Considering some of the celebrity child names out there, maximus as a middle name is pretty tame.

My mom just told me his name and I came on here to post it. At least he balanced it out with a "normal" first name.

Bryce Maximus - hmmm.

Maybe it's just me, but if I gave a child a first name starting with the letter 'B' - I would avoid middle names starting with the letters 'J' and 'M'.

Despite being LeBron's kid, his name will guarantee him receiving a load of just what the initials stand for. :tongue2:

anyone in the akron area might want to check out THE BIG FISH bar in the valley of west akron on any saturday. Lebron and his friends from ST. V were having a great time and he even told me thats his hang out place. He was pretty cool and talked to everyone very polite. He is 6 8 but, doesn't look like he weighs 250. He looks like a tall WR in person.

Since when do St V and Garfield Rams get along??

:) Thats a great ? , I think never . One of my cousins went to ST.V when, I was at garfield so that made it safe for me. garfild/hoban/st.v a lot of hatred.

I use to work with Lebron's cousin and he called me up and told me about Lebron going out Thats how I found out thats his place to go .Years ago, I never use to believe he was Lebron's cousin because, everyone use to say that in akron , even my dumbass  until, he took me to a cav's game. We sat behind the cav's bench and got to meet all the players after the game. That was really cool.
