Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

You act like something is wrong with this as you keep harping on PP needing help to win a title. Jordan needed Pippen, Wade needed Shaq etc. I could go on and on with this but whats the point? Basketball is a team sport and you need other superstars to win.

Next time you try to call someone out make sure you got something to back it up with. /pwned

So you have no more respect for Kobe now that he's won two titles without Shaq? Reality is on line 1, and it would like to have a word with you...

This will all go away if LBJ leaves. Could the Cavs still fight for a playoff spot? Sure, they could, if things fall their way. But they won't "matter" anymore, like they did. It sure would be nice if this city could catch a break. Maybe this is it...just this once. I am hoping...even if my gut tells me there's no point.

I agree with all of this. I think the Cavs could go 42-40, or something around .500 next year, and sneak into the playoffs. But without LeBron.. It's hard to care anymore. It's hard to feel that they have a legitimate shot to do anything for another 20 years. Playoffs? Sure. Eliminated by round two? Definitely. It's hard to imagine that the last 6 years, all the hardships the true Cavs went through- to me- it's hard to believe that could all be going away in under four hours. It could all just be another thing to add to the list of Cleveland sports shortcomings. Not only what they've been calling, "The Contract", but what about the last six years? They have to come up with a name for that. There has to be something to call 6 years of "next year". What was that? A tease for those who thought Cleveland sports would have their savior? Just six more years of torture? Sure, it was fun, I loved LeBron's time here, and he made the game of basketball, and Cleveland Cavs basketball fun again. Something I hadn't seen since the 90s. But when it all comes down to it, it was still a disappointment. It was still that "just short" feeling you've gotten from this communities sports since 1965.

Todd Porter just guaranteed that Lebron is re-signing with the Cavs on 1480 am WHBC radio. Take it FWIW, but Todd's pretty connected in Ohio Sports. Just trying to balance things out here...

Sorry but I only believe predictions from the UPS girl and Paul the psychic octopus. :slappy:

Psychic Octopus Shocks Germany with Semi-Final Prediction

July 6: Octopus Paul fixes the Spanish box during his oracle for the semifinal match at the World Cup in South Africa between Germany and Spain in the SeaLife Aquarium in Oberhausen, Germany. Paul predicted all German matches during the World Cup 100 percent right. Octopus oracle Paul is predicting Germany will be defeated by Spain at the World Cup semifinal. Sea Life Aquarium's spokesman Daniel Fey said Tuesday that the famous mollusk from Oberhausen chose a mussel from a glass tank marked with a Spanish flag, while ignoring the tank marked with the German colors - indicating a Spanish victory in Wednesday's semifinal.

Paul the psychic octopus broke hearts in Germany Tuesday when he tipped Spain as the winner of Wednesday's World Cup semi-final, predicting an unwelcome exit for his side.
As the eight-legged oracle has a 100 percent prediction success rate for Germany's World Cup so far, things do not look good for Joachim Low's team.

Paul?s technique uses two plastic boxes, one with a German and one with that of the team?s opponent, which are lowered into his tank. Each contains a tasty morsel of food, and the box that Paul opens first is judged to be his predicted winner.
His latest prophecy, which was shown live on national TV drew gasps from the crowd assembled at the Oberhausen Sea Life center in western Germany.

Clyde scored 28pts and 9 rebs a game. Easily a top 10 back then.

Dude, you missed my joke completely--are you aware that Drexler wasn't even on the team when the Rockets won the title in '94? And in '95, he averaged 21 pts and 6 rebounds. Do you know anything about basketball, or do you just whine and make things up when you perceive someone to have insulted the Celtics?

He was traded to Houston during the 94-95 season, never said he was on the title team in 94.

Epic fail.

Dude, do you not know how to read? He was not on the 1994 Rockets championship team. He only won one NBA title with the Rockets.

Clyde Drexler - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Way to take out part of my post that reads Clyde was traded during the 94-95 season and was not on the title team in 94.

Reading comprehension is your friend.
