Auburn loses another high-prized football recruit

Auburn has lost another high-prized commitment from Georgia.
Trey Johnson, a 4-star linebacker from Central Gwinnett High School, de-committed from Auburn on Tuesday, according to his coach.
?Trey is going to de-commit from Auburn today,? Central Gwinnett coach Todd Wofford said. ?Trey wants to be fair to himself and to the teams he has interest in. He isn?t going to address Auburn until they name a coach.?
Johnson?s de-commitment doesn?t come as much of a surprise. Ever since Gene Chizik was mentioned as being on the hotseat, Johnson has been openly researching other options.
He went on an official visit last weekend to Ohio State, which now may be the school to beat. Johnson will also take recruiting trips to Florida, USC and Penn State ? along with probably Auburn once it names a new coach. Ohio State coach Urban Meyer stopped by Ohio State two weeks ago.
