LB Storm Klein (Official Thread)

I do think it is important to keep and open mind; not rush to judgment. Less than 1/2 of domestic violence charges result in conviction, due primarily to the unwillingness of the victim to proceed. I don't know what Meyer will do if the charges get dismissed for that reason.

I believe Clarke and Gambrell were released from their scholarships before they were convicted.

You and I seem to disagree on several things as evident by the ruby and you calling me an aaaay-whole...

..The only way domestic violence is okay is if you go home one weekend and see your dad beating the crap out of your mom so you smack the crap out of him.

You saying "but wait" "she might not press charges" as a defense isn't acceptable. Storm is a linebacker at tOSU. I only say this because on defense you damn well better be able to play with a controlled rage. You certainly better be able to control it in life.

Oh and then there is the fact that he is a member of tOSU football team..it's time to understand that you are held to a higher level than the average football player across the country. I know that might seem unfair..but considering that espn is ready to run a 7 day expose on a Buckeye farting in church it just makes it the way it is.

But wait Urban - she might not press charges.

Sheesh.

And for those seeking a silver lining - this does nothing for our scholarship numbers or our reputation.

On the other hand, we don't have any emails suggesting Gordon Gee wanted to throw him off the team and Urban said no.

I must say I'm actually quite pleased with the ESPN article about this.. I was expecting to go read about how OSU has a bunch of thugs and Urban condones their actions, but they actually gave him credit for acting "quickly and decisively" about the Stoneburner and Mewhort incident. Meyer has definitely set a precedent on how things will be handled, and rightfully so..
