LB Ryan Shazier (All B1G, All-American, 2017 Pro Bowl)

There was an article that came out 2 weeks ago saying Shazier was going to see the field more. The past 2 weeks Shazier has yet to see the field but on special teams. Honestly our LB's aren't getting it done out there. They aren't good in pursuit and aren't good in coverage. Sweat and Sabino were out of position on quite a few plays that I saw tonight. Give Shazier a shot, the kid is a ball hawk. He's our best playmaker on special teams and is our fastest LB. Why dont we use him????????

It's kinda sad that questioning that, which is very deserved, still isn't even close to the most confusing decisions our coaches keep making week after week. (I'd give that one to not letting Guiton get a shot over JB)

Sabino was out of position throughout the rest of the game on this play every time. Why not bring Shazier in to give them some additional bodies that are fresh. He has great speed and a nose for the ball which was desperately needed.

One full year in the weight program and Shazier is going to be a freak. A little more size combined with that speed is going to be huge. Abdullah for NEB is lucky he didn't get his head blown off on that 4Q punt because Shazier was burning down the field and timed his hit up perfectly.
