LB Rashod Berry (Official Thread)

My thoughts exactly, I'm 30 and Ricky was one of the first people I remember watching as a young kid and thinking, "wow, that guy is unreal". I hold Ricky and Orlando Pace in pretty high regard, so I don't throw that comparison around much, but he's incredibly athletic for his size and absolutely might be in the same mold. Regardless, the future is bright and his fit at multiple positions is undeniable.

Those that have seen this kid live on the football field and basketball floor have been RAVING about his athleticism...one insider I've traded messages with has been screaming about Rashod for a year now to anyone who will listen. I am really excited about what this kid could be bringing to the table and I'm not even sure what position I like him best at yet...I just know I'm glad he will be in S&G.

The only reason I added the Hurry Up, was for everyone to watch the Bball highlights of Berry! Omg this kid has unreal athleticism:yow2:! I don't care what position he plays, just put him on the field. I think the coaches may seriously have a fist fight over which side to play this kid, Hinton and LJsr will arm wrestle for his services

HOME GROWN: LEARNING 'THE LITTLE THINGS' AT LORAIN PAVED THE WAY FOR RASHOD BERRY TO ACHIEVE HIS DREAM OF PLAYING FOR OHIO STATE

Rashod Berry is one of those kinds of athletes you just don’t see every day. He’s 6-foot-5, 240 pounds and can play both sides of the ball, as he played wide receiver and defensive end at Lorain. He also became a YouTube sensation during basketball season with a highlight film filled with high-flying dunks. McFarland says Berry will start off his Buckeye career at tight end.

Hoping to see this kid flash in the spring game. Whether TE or DE there are opportunities. Hope this dude knocks the door down and plants his flag.

Enjoyed the spring game yesterday, and was thrilled to see Berry come off the edge with speed and pick up a nice sack early. Obviously he's behind Lewis, Hubbard, and Holmes, but the upside is certainly there. Can't wait to see this kid this fall...I'm hoping he works his way into the rotation and we can all enjoy watching him fly off that edge and drill people other than Burrow.
