Larry has been cleared by tOSU admissions and will be visiting this weekend. He is still planning on taking his visit to Oregon next weekend (1/27). He plans on announcing his decision the Wednesday after his Oregon visit.

Larry has to cover all his bases. There may be something that comes out of no where, or a possible negative experience on his visit (personality clash or something) that he needs to keep his options open.

With that being said, if he has a great experience during his visit at tOSU then in all likelihood (sp?) he will commit to tOSU this weekend.

If it's between Oregon and us...I like our chances everytime. Tressel has been reeling these kids in left and right and I have faith that Grant will be thrilled with the PT opportunity at tOSU as well as the character and competitiveness of this team as well as our odds of winning an N.C. versus Oregon's over the next 2 years. Just pull the trigger Larry. :)

Its not that we should be worried about him picking Oregon over us, its the fact that right now we will only take 4 or 5 more players, with it virtually being 3 because of Small...

JT's closing rate when getting a kid on campus is second to none...the hard part was getting Lary here. Now that he is coming, JT will work his magic...
