It would take one of the most monumental performances by Mike Bellotti to sway this kid to Eugene...
or a very favorable depth chart. However, if a true LB wants to display his skill, the Pac 10 is not the place to do so.

Did you mean to say 'moneymental'? (Isn't Oregon where Mr. Nike - the one who helped recruit Malik Hairston - hails from?)
Oregon returns all three LBs next year.
Two are seniors, but if his big concern with with Florida was not being able to enroll early it seems pretty clear he wants to play now, not after somebody graduates next year.
Grant's thought process here might be simply that Ohio State has to replace three great linebackers. Regardless of the number of LB recruits being brought in this year, he's probably the most physically mature of them and is ready to take the field next fall. I doubt he starts, but he could see significant playing time.
With his size, speed, and hitting, he'll start on special teams for sure...
Could Grant come in and actually start? In my opinion he could. I think that is one of the reasons why the staff offered a JUCO LB. I heard Laurinitais could be the possible starter at MIKE. Grant-Laurinitais-Freeman as starting linebackers...hmmmmm
I am still suprised by this recruitment, unless they plan on him to come in and start over Freeman or Animal Jr.
BTW, Any new updates on Mr. Grant? Patiently waiting for the onslaught on Dancing banana's in the near future. Just a hunch.
