If you believe in your talents, and not getting the PT you believe that you deserve, than use the transfer portal option. This is actually a win-win if he leaves. He gets to play at a program of his choice, and possibly still make the NFL, and one of our young pups(Pope, Gant, Browning) can get more reps

Yep; and Gant would have been more than hot on his tail. Seems to be next up, but I think Jones will head out and best of luck to him....did things the right way and those kids should be rewarded.

Definitely get this decision, but I think we will all wonder if Davis is an idiot and Jones should have been playing more than he was. Either way, I wish Keandre the best and hope he kills it wherever he goes.

Is he a grad transfer? Also, UC might be a good option playing under Luke and Marcus Freeman.

He's definitely one I feel is a casualty of the Davis era where kids in essence lost a year bcuz their position coach was lost. I was hoping he would get a chance to make an impact. Best of luck to him.

Pretty quick BP thread career, which I did not expect for Jones.

Page 7 signing day, 2016 > early reports of immediate playing time from Meyer > first mentioned by Raekwon McMillian as a young pup to watch > a couple Special Teams awards > (awesome) article about being a positive teammate after blocked punt winning a game (Nebraska) > one last ST award in The Game.

Bam. Transfer. Page 9, 2018.

I’m sorry for whatever changed during those middle 2 years after he came in ready for PT, but glad he still found ways to contribute. Best of luck.

Kid had an incredible nose for the football. I remember watching him as a freshman and saying he was going to be a good one. Then Bill came.

Kid will play wherever he goes and likely do very well. Great instincts.
