As far as I'm concerned, Penn State can keep the whole Linebacker U title. We'll be NFL U. Producing OL, DL, LB, CB, S, WR, QB, TE, RB. Penn State produces LBs, that's cute and all. I'll take OSU NFL alum against PSU NFL alum in a heartbeat.

Film (Rivals)

Clips of Etienne's senior year. I was extremely impressed and you can see definite improvement from his senior film. He takes great angles, has excellent closing speed, squares himself nicely before impact, hits like a truck, has great instincts, and he has outstanding athleticism. His size is absolutely evident and he really physically dominates some good competition. Howard and Sabino are both very impressive in their physical play. One play that stood out to me is where Sabino leaps over someone on the ground, flies to the ball, and makes the tackle. He has all the intangibles to be a GREAT one here at OSU...I can't state how excited I am about Sabino's potential here. I'm officially pegging Etienne as my vote as most likely to carry on the OSU LB tradition.

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Rivals5: Top stories in Florida

Just call 2008 "The Year of the Linebacker" in the state of Florida. Out of Rivals.com's Top 10 inside linebackers, three of them hail from the Sunshine State. Of Rivals.com's Top 10 outside linebackers, half of them were Florida natives. Moreover, the top inside linebacker and the top outside linebacker are each Floridians.

It is a scary thought that Etienne Sabino, Nigel Bradham, Marcus Robinson, Jordan Futch and Ryan Baker are all in the same class of linebackers, but that they're listed from the same state is hard to fathom.
