Plays like a typical Ohio State safety. Big hitter. Boy, if those Florida DBs want in the fold, they'll have to make their decisions here soon. We have 3 DBs committed right now and the train's just about to leave the station...
Very happy to get a kid of his caliber, especially during these crazy times. Just thinking (wheels within wheels), maybe Ted Ginn Sr. encouraged him to commit early, rather than the 'usual' Glenville way, after the 'tour' and late in the process, in order to show Glenville support for OSU.
Maybe, maybe not. Sounds like Bogard was pretty set on OSU anyway, so there was an opportunity to show some support for the OSU program.....either way, it sounds like a 'win-win' for both OSU and Bogard, and that's a nice breath of fresh air after all the pummeling that's been occuring in the press and ESPiN and other news casters.
Dude just flies to the ball. Devan's gonna be a terror on special teams from day 1 as he gets into the cycle at safety. Pound for pound, he is a HUGE hitter with really good instincts for where the ball is.
Some of the other guys in that film on Glenville's D are fun to watch too. That D-Line really gets after it...
