LB Bobby Carpenter (All B1G, National Champion)

I was at the RPAC on Sat morning for a swim workout. Carp was in the lane next to me for a half hour pool rehab session. He went pretty hard for about 30 min, running, jumping and swimming, but had a noticeable limp when he exited the pool.

i wish i had the RPAC to workout in:( i have to wait till next fall but anyways sounds like his rehab is going pretty good if he is getting to that stage now. i wouldnt be surprised to see him have a limp in the actual game. he somewhat had a limp all season and a noticeable one when he first injured it in the texas game but obviously it didnt slow him down much.

A friend of mine just called me to rub it in that he and his brother went to a wedding reception and BC was there.
He was dancing and walking around with no problem.
When he asked about playing Bobby was confident he would play.
I know he plans on it but that doesn't mean that he will be cleared to play.
Damn I wish I was there.

My 1st post!!!

*I just wanted to take this opportunity in my very first post [!], to give my Love & Utmost Respect to Bobby. Me being from Lancaster as well, he is our hometown sweetheart! He makes me so proud :)

*If there was a dictionarty definition of a "True Buckeye", you would see Bobby's picture. Nothing but Pure Talent, Class & Warrior Spirit. Tons of fun to watch!

*His injury at The Big House was especially traumatizing for me as a fan. So much so, that I lost complete interest in the game...until after half time. I wanted to give him the biggest hug & console him!

*As far as the Bowl game goes, I have [literally] been praying for him nightly to get better. Nothing would make me [actually, ALL Buckeye fans] happier than to see him in his Buckeye uniform one last time, on the field with his brothers. That is his wish & I want it to come true for him. I am confident that he *will* play--he probably just won't start.

*For as many years as I've been watching Buckeye Football, the Class of 2005 is my All-Time favorite. I am devastated to see them go....

**:oh: PS...Ohio State 27 Neuter Dame 21 GOOO BUCKS!:io: **

~Happy Holidays to all!~

Yea, even if Carp is only 50%...if he wants to play, he has earned the right to take a few snaps in his final game.

Uh, no he hasn't...the staff still has overall responsibility for Carp's health. If they're not extremely comfortable with the status of his leg, they have the responsibility to keep him off the field.
