does BMX legend count as a celebrity?
Agreed. When it comes to BMX pioneers, I think of Mat Hoffman, Dave Mirra, and Ryan Nyquist. Not in most cases, but Mirra was pretty much to BMX what Tony Hawk is to skateboarding. Had a ton of video games, a staple of xtreme sports for 20 years.
Dude got broken a lot of times riding... makes me wonder if its CTE, like Junior Seau.
Don't forget Upper Arlington's own Todd Lyons, who is not taking this news very well. They were teammates at one timeAgreed. When it comes to BMX pioneers, I think of Mat Hoffman, Dave Mirra, and Ryan Nyquist.
