RIP. The Larry Sanders Show was a staple of HBO's 90s comedy and paved the way for a lot of the low-key, sardonic comedies of the past 20 years.

Some Patty Duke trivia:
Patty Duke was married four times, with her third husband being John Astin (Gomez Addams). Patty Duke is the mother of Sean Astin (Rudy / Sam Gamgee), whose real name is Sean Patrick Duke. Sean changed his surname to Astin after being adopted by his stepfather (his biological father being Michael Tell, Duke's second husband).
John Astin was married to two of my favorite actresses growing up: Patty Duke in real life, and Morticia Addams (Carolyn Jones) on television.
