Saw Avatar 3D. Visually the movie was amazing. The plot was pretty predictable and the acting ok. But the CGI alone made it a really good movie. Although the damn tickets for a 3d movie are very expensive.

No. That's something that you'll never see me listing in this thread.
Notice how he didn't say he wouldn't watch it though. :)

G-Force.

Gave it to the kids last night as an early Christmas present. I had refused to take the kids to see it in the theater (took them to several other movies instead, but wasn't going to spend $30 to see it in 3D). Fortunately the good folks at Disney know the proper formula for how to make movies not only tolerable for parents, but even a bit enjoyable. It was a cute little movie that had plenty of action and humor. My seven year old, who really wanted to see the movie the most, was quite entranced by it the entire time it played.

"Julie & Julia" - not always a fan of Meryl Streep, but she did a fun Julia Child, and seeing as the Academy loves real-life characters it won't surprise me if she gets an Oscar for it. Stanley Tucci was great as usual.
