Been working my way through the Criterion Collection dvd's I got for Xmas.

Just watched Dazed & Confused with Linklater's commentary.

Also watched Harakiri--an old Japanese samurai movie. That's an absolute masterpiece. Highly recommended.

Recently watched Two Lane Blacktop. One of the coolest movies ever--driving cross country in a '70 GTO with a wet bar in the trunk. That's livin'.

Still have another Kobayashi samurai flick to watch called Samurai Rebellion and two Kurosawa movies: The Hidden Fortress (which was a primary influence on Lucas for Star Wars) and Drunken Angel.
