Finally watched The Interview.

Had there not been any shenanigans surrounding the movie, I think it would've played pretty well in theaters.

It's exactly what you would expect it to be. Maybe a handful of laugh out loud moments and a bunch of Franco/Rogan doofusing.

I enjoyed the hell outta this. It was weird, but between Chris Pratt, Rocket and Groot there was a lot to like.

Finally saw 2 biggies this weekend:

Django Unchained: this was good for what it was, though I think Tarantino is somewhat limiting because his films are more or less all the same. Great cast obviously. I'd give it 3/5, but I wasn't as enamored as some.

Gone Girl: there are no words in the English language to describe how much I hate this movie. Fincher is fine, cast was good, but the story was so exponentially stupid, complete with every stereotype and plot hole you can think of. For a big budget movie, the plot homes were so comically stupid it defies explanation. 0/5 this movie was awful.

Watching John Wick and Ok not really watching, distracted and posting here on BP. So I've missed a lot. Think I'm gonna have to rewind because holy shit. Keannu Reeves isn't my favorite but the Matrix is awesome. I'm gonna start this over and pay attention.

Real Genius (1985)

Throughout school and even at Ohio State, that stupid instrumental song from the part where they took the final exam (in the movie) played in my head (when I took some tests).

***Spoiler Alert***
After 30 years, still trying to figure out how popcorn can take apart a house and continue to pop without sustained heat (from a laser). Although, the laser was supposed to be hotter than the sun.

:slappy:

Holy shit my wife still makes me watch this every time we see it on TV.

John Wick is a serious badass. If I rated this movie by body count, well, Keannu has a body count...
