Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Still the best movie ever made about HS life.

American Pie and Porky's were great: however, the all time best HS movie was....

"You're the puss that always bled." - Buddy Revell
Great movie from my 'no one else seems to have seen it except me' list.

FWIW I specifically wrote 'best movie about high school life' for a reason. Some of the movies being mentioned are fanastic flicks but they don't really accurately portray life as a teen like Fast Times did. Dazed & Confused has an argument and so does American Graffiti (if you were born in in the 40's) but most of the others tend more towards parody.

BTW if you haven't read the book you really should. Cameron Crowe was a fantastic writer.

Looking forward to Zero Dark Thirty when it hits stores. It is a huge moment in our current history, but do people actually remember where they were when they heard the news? (like they claim)

I do. It was announced late, and I didn't hear about it until the morning after the announcement. So I was at home getting ready for work when I heard the news.

I do. I was driving to pick up my pregnant wife from the airport.

Same. Can't wait to check that out. I heard its kind of slow at the beginning but picks up later.

Reminds me kind of like a Hurt Locker type of movie
