The Littles meet Miyazaki.

The only weak part was the addition of the music at the end by Disney's barmy bint of the month.

It's a pretty sick flick..the original..Have you seen the extra long version on netflix?

Yep. The book was originally called The Man who Hated Women or something of that nature. The director's cut version captures that, as well as the director's cuts of the sequels.

The plot was a bit slow & not overly original but there was some very cool camerawork & the fight choreography was fun, more importantly it was great to see a female lead who can actually pull off the physical bits.

I mean how often do you see a Hollywood actress who can even run let alone handle fight scenes?

The Flowers of War, set in Nanking, China in December, 1937. Christian Bale and a cast of unknown Chinese actors made a pretty good flick. The atrocities of the Japanese invasion haven't received enough worldwide attention.

I agree. Most don't realize the historic reasons for all of the hatred in that region.

Obviously haven't seen it yet...but I find it, well, interesting (for lack of a better word) that RottenTomatoes had to shut down their comments on Dark Knight Rises because a couple of reviewers who wrote negative reviews were getting death threats...

Got to see an advanced screening of TDKR. Epic. You would
Really have to nitpick or flat out not like the ending to Give it Negative reviews.
Tom Hardy has become One of my favorite actors. The role was
Brilliant and intimidating.

Edit: so far this has been the only awesome part about D.C.
That and the women.
