Saw Thor in 3D tonight... Meh. What's with the super action to begin the movie, then 80% of the movie spent as a mortal, then back to badass Thor at the end? I don't know, maybe I'm a cynical one, but I thought this movie lacked a lot. I feel if you are going to call the movie Thor, you'd better bring it with the CGI (they did, but not enough).

i think i read roughly 25 minutes were cut that involved him going from god thor to human thor or vice versa

Yeah, that's the movie we ended up seeing because my friend said something about that. Still quite disappointed in the overall product. Can't complain much, because I did watch it for free.

Midnight in Paris-Fucking gay

No. Just fucking no.

No Woody Allen film is ever "fucking gay" and especially not one with a solid cast such as Midnight in Paris. I thought it was a very sweet and well written comedy in the vein of Allen's earlier stuff.

Your taste in movies deeply upsets me.

I thought the whole concept was too unbelievable and I'm not talking about him going back to the 1920's every night at midnight. no, what I found too unfathomable is that such a liberal weenie like Owen Wilson's character would ever get engaged to a ball busting cunt from a family of ultra conservative moronic tea party members. Just didn't buy it. I enjoyed seeing Paris though, reminded of the trips I took there, especially getting caught in the rain.
I do like Woody Allen. Play it Again Sam, Take the Money and Run, Bananas, Sleeper and Annie Hall are amongst my favorite movies of all time.
