Finally watched 2012. Sucked ass. I cannot understand what happened to Roland Emmerich that the same guy that made Stargate, Independence Day, and The Patriot could devolve into making [censored] like The Day After Tomorrow and 2012.

For [censored]s sake, he used the-car/plane-outrunning-the-street/runway-falling-into-the-earths-core scene at least five times in this movie!

This movie made me laugh for days. Loved it when the Giraffe lost faith and made sad sounds!! Bahahaha!!

Hurt Locker- A lot of action and good characters, but, it started to drag towards the end and never had a consistent story line. I understood what kind of message Bigelow was trying to project... but "Best Picture" at the Oscars, I don't think so. Avatar was a better flick IMO.

Bought RocknRolla on blu-ray.

Still my favorite... some of the one-liner's are great.

Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squeaquel: The kids liked it, I thought it was an okay family movie.

The Blindside: Really enjoyed it. Very good movie and is even better considering it's a real story.

Sherlock Holmes: Absolutely loved it. Much like the new Batman and James Bond movies, I really appreciate the edgier approach they've given the characters. I also liked Dr. Watson, and was glad that he had such a big part. Downey and Law worked well together.

Forgive me, for I know not what I do. I went to see this movie. It was only a $1 at the Bethel Rd. movie theater. I thought it was a comedy with Steve Martin. It was a "chick flick". :sob:

I thought that the movie sucked. Surprisingly my wife actually liked it.

I took my son and his cousin (12 and 11) to see Clash of the Titans. I am glad I went to look up where the 3D versions were playing in the area. While looking for theaters, I ended up reading a couple of the reviews that basically said to see the 2D version instead.

Apparently, according to a couple of those reviews, the director did not plan for this to be in 3D, and the 3D effects were done after final edit, and done very quickly. Even the director was not pleased with the 3D release. Just what I read.

Anyway, I convinced the boys the 2D version is the way to go and I have to say I liked it. It was the movie it was intended to be, a "remake" (of sorts) of the campy 1981 version (which I loved as a kid) with a slightly updated story and much better effects. Plus, the kids thought it was great, and want to see it again. I guess to me the movie did its job.
