Finally watched 2012. Sucked ass. I cannot understand what happened to Roland Emmerich that the same guy that made Stargate, Independence Day, and The Patriot could devolve into making shit like The Day After Tomorrow and 2012.

For fucks sake, he used the-car/plane-outrunning-the-street/runway-falling-into-the-earths-core scene at least five times in this movie!

I struggled to find any redeeming qualities about this movie.

Hated 2012.

In fact, the last few minutes of the movie were in Russian...and I didn't feel like I missed a thing. 2012 was a steaming pile of shit, insulted my intelligence at every turn.

Watched Clash of the Titans thursday night, thought it was an adequately enjoyable movie. Wasn't super memorable, but was an enjoyable hour and forty minutes. Unless you see it in 3D, in which case I have heard it was TERRIBLE.

We can thank Avatar for all these non-3D movies being turned into 3D post-production. They did it with Clash of the Titans, and I think they did it with Alice in Wonderland (heard the 3D was terrible for that, too).

I guess I should thank them instead of being sarcastic.. less-crowded non-3D theaters.

The Fog is on FOX for some reason. It's a top 10 worst for me so far.

Alic In Wonderland was acutally made for 3D, it wasn't "Avatar'd".

Seriosuly though, CotT made it so obvious that they jammed 3D into the film, so fucking awful. I saw it in 2D, and you could tell where a scene was recut to allow for a "cool" 3D effect.

Besides Avatar, I've NEVER seen a good 3D movie.

And I hated the Fog. Ugh.

And what will assuredly be unbelievably bad will be a Step Up 2 the Streets in 3D.....

seriously.

Watched The Hurt Locker last night. Loved it. Excellent war movie, though I don't know if I'd say it was a "Best Picture" worthy candidate. If that was the best movie of 2009, it must have been a pretty awful year for movies (Not being facetious, I honestly wouldn't know - with two kids under 2 we don't exactly go the movies a lot right now).
