Went and saw Kick Ass the other day, and it was...interesting. Good movie, but very over the top and ridiculous. I would probably go watch it again if asked (only at the Universal AMC though, love the reclining leather seats!).

Red Cliff, by John Woo. It's set in 208 A.D. in China, and deals with a huge battle invovling hundreds of thousands of soldiers. It's 2 DVD's and goes about 4:45, but it was a good flick with military strategy and action.

"The Fantastic Mr. Fox" - such a Wes Anderson movie; great voice work by George Clooney, Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman; I also loved some of the secondary characters like Kylie and acoustic-bandleader Petey. Maybe not for everyone (though my wife who doesn't get Anderson's appeal did like it), but definitely one of the better movies I've seen in awhile.
