i watched grindhouse fri and disturbia sat. grindhouse is weird as hell. it has crude humor but alot of it is kinda dry as well but its mostly comical. you cant really describe that type of movie(s). the intermissions were pretty hilarious. i watched disturbia and it was pretty good really. had a pretty strong plot and it kinda goes on and on but picks up quickly not to mention scaring the hell out of me in the one scene. damn amc theatres play quiet music in one corner of the huge theatre and then the guy blasts a bat through a door and the whole theatre literally shakes in a massive explosion. i seriously felt like i just lived through a bombing.

Disturbia's plot seems an awful lot like Rear Window. But IMO Jimmy Steward > Shia La Bouf. Alfred Hitchcock > than whoever directed Disturbia, and Grace Kelly in her prime was smoking.

"The Good Shepherd". Okay, but slower than I expected, a little too pretentious and blunt in its occasional efforts to foreshadow abuses of power real or imagined, and I couldn't care about any of the characters. Overall, a disappointment given its reviews.
