I rented 3 movies for the weekend
1. Rocky Balboa- IMO good movie, way to put an end to the Rocky movies
2. The Pursuit of Happyness-great flick.
3. The Good Sheperd- got to watch it again, good movie

Prestige / Illusionist

So I bought the Illusionist (Ed Norton, Jessica Biel) on accident because I thought it was the Prestige (Christian Bale, Scarlett Johanson). I watched the Illusionist first and it was pretty darn good. Watched the Prestige last night, and it was gawd-awful.

What makes the Illusionist so much better than the Prestige? I haven't seen either so I'm curious.

simply put, i would recommend both movies. though i did enjoy the illusionist more and saw it first, by no means did that detract from my viewing of the prestige. they both offer different things. the illusionist is more about the protagonist's love interest, while the prestige is more about the magic. each is visually stunning.
