I agree. Even as recently as Robin Hood Men In Tights and High School the spoof genre was on point. Now I think Taos is the only person who enjoys them.

My favorite spoof of the 90s was "Loaded Weapon 1", with Samuel Jackson, Emilio Estevez, Denis Leary, Tim Curry, William Shatner, Kathy Ireland. Saw it earlier this week, still great fun!

Never Back Down. The movie kicks ass and the opening scene gets you pumped for football season. If you like MMA you'll love it if you are a guy you'll at least like it. And to convince the ladies to go with you they have some good looking guys (and gals) according to my girlfriend.

In Bruges

Started a little slow but ended up being pretty good. I was a little surprised at the parts people in the theater (myself included) laughed at - not unlike Pulp Fiction in the regard. Having been to Bruges, was nice to see some familiar places...

Sorry, shitty knockoff on the Karate kid for the most part except Mr Miagi is black in this one.

Shoot Em Up - if your into over the top action (on complete purpose) its pretty decent. It throws you the violence and lightly humorous one liners.

American History X - girl I love had never seen it and asked too out of the blue. Not my choice, but a fantastic piece of film none- the- less, how Edward Norton got that big is beyond me.

Watched half of Fallen, then had to read for a class..

It was good enough for me to want to finish it. Rather odd seeing John Goodman play a role alongside Denzel Washington, though. If I didn't think of Roseanne every time I saw him, then it probably wouldn't be that weird. But it is weird.

I haven't seen the movie, but the previews seem like Karate Kid meets The Fast and The Furious. I'll wait until it comes out on DVD, and by then I'll probably forget about it.

There Will Be Blood

Fantastic. He definitely deserved his awards for this performance. One of the best performances I've seen.. DVD packaging is awful, however. I had to buy the special edition so the DVD was in a shitty cardboard sleeve. It's still in cardboard, it's just not as inconvenient. The DVD also had scratches on it when I took it out of the package!

Oh well, it worked fine.
