Pre-concert lube Tuesday afternoon in our Cincinnati hotel (after a stop at Cork & Barrel and Party Source to bring home cases of bourbon).

Hit the bar. Finish their bottle of Blantons for $20. Take the cork and bag home as a souvenir.

Tool. Floor Seats.

Hit Terry’s Turf Club for lunch on way out of Cincinnati Wednesday.

4 hours later, in our seats at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland for Tool again. (Not floor seats, cause my concert-bro was in a trial and couldn’t buy seats while I was securing the floor seats in Cinci, so I could only get upper bowl by the time he’d passed a text to me that he couldn’t pull his weight on his end).

Two Tool concerts in two days, three Tool concerts this year. Worth it.

Damn, been 10 years but I guess this was my walk off (as in last last). Saw them 20 years earlier in Vancouver BC. Rough being in the pit in your mid-50s (and wife lasted about one song). Had some young buck throw a beer in my face so I threw mine in his face and then drug him to the bar to buy us both beers. We may have danced together. That could have gone a whole lot worse. Eventually found my wife. RIP Philip Chevron. Cheers.

First live show in quite a while... but “in these unprecedented times” the wife and I got to take our girls to see their 1st real concert: the local-boys-gone-big CAAMP, drive-in style, out at Legend Valley at Buckeye Lake.

And it was just about the best way to see a show that I have yet experienced! Socially-distanced with your own car and chairs and snacks. “Do you have any outside alcohol in your vehicle?” “Of course not!” said everyone in attendance.

Mt Joy is the next show there on this coming Wednesday (they are very good live too).
