On a different topic, the best show I ever attended was probably Fishbone/Primus at the Newport in 92. Unbelievable atmosphere/show.

Saw ZZ Top at the Houston Rodeo and Live Stock Show a couple weeks ago. Average show but I guess it wasn't so bad for a band twenty-something years past their prime.

Breaking Benjamin last summer. I've seen them six times and they always put on a great show. Very good live band.

We suck as a BP concert-going community! How has barely been updated in the last decade???

I drove two hours to Pittsburgh to catch Frank Turner Sunday night. Best show I have ever seen and I have attended a few shows over the decades.

Saw Kaleo for the 2nd time on friday... Good live show... the biggest issue was it was the same concert I saw them at earlier in the year. Basically the same set list 0 variation. They are hopefully going to get better as the get more material..

We suck as a BP concert-going community! How has barely been updated in the last decade???

Because we are all 35+ these days.

The last show I caught was Kris Kristofferson playing at the Colonial Theatre in Keene, NH. Just him and his guitar for 2 hours, fewer than 500 people there. It was awesome.

My 'bigger' shows of 2017 included Dead & Company at Folsom Field in Boulder (great show, thought John Mayer fit in great) and Ryan Adams at Red Rocks (knocked my freakin' socks off). I'm now a Ryan Adams fan - catch him if you haven't yet. You won't be disappointed.

And for concert regret, I am really sad I never caught Tom Petty. I should've hit up one if his Red Rocks shows when I had the chance. :(

Saw Tom Petty this past Saturday. Lawn was a bit hazy, but the guy can still rock in between moments of "wtf is he saying?"

Knew in the back of my head I would take every chance I could see him because who knew when life would catch up, but still surreal that this was it.
