He also suggested they think that player is good....which goes against what the kid said. I wondered the same thing and if he perhaps painted a different picture in the recent discussion as a way of ending it with no further hurt feelings. Essentially having staff fall on sword instead of getting into details of why they might have evaluated him differently.
