Oh dear God! I used to watch that also! Carl Wheathers. If I remember correctly, it was produced in Canada and syndicated in the States. There was also a show at the same time from the same production company about a vampire cop. Anybody remember the name of that? In the Toledo area, they ran together on Sunday nights at 11:30 and 12:30, right after "George Michaels Sports Machine"!
Oh yes, I remember watching this on Sunday nights on channel 13 or 53 here in Columbus - often on my 3" b&w Sony Watchman in my bunk bed/fort thing.
