Lame TV Shows You Used to Watch

  • I was joking with someone at work about some "Cruise Director" duties they were doing which led to the inevitable discussion about The Love Boat. That got me thinking about some of the lame shows I have watched over the years and some that I probably shouldn't admit.

My girlfriend and I used to watch the Love Boat which was followed by Fantasy Island whenever she babysat for this one family. She got me to occasionally watch General Hospital (the Luke and Laura days) after school.

I also remember watching Night Rider and MacGyver. There was this one P.I. show I used to watch (no not Magnum) that was set in Dallas, but I can't find it anywhere.

What were your favorite lame TV shows?

Now that I'm older and my disdain for terrible shows has developed, I have apologized to my parents a few times for making them sit through ABC's TGIF lineup every Friday night. Full House, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, Boy Meets World, etc. I don't know how they stayed that patient with us.

    Probably beer.

None of them are lame...they're the best shows that I watch plain and simple

I know what Bucknut's answer is to this...Dance Mom's, however this can not be categorized as such until he stops watching that show, which there is no decision on when that will be

Not Rockford Files? That was a good one.

I think most of the shows I used to watch are pretty lame. Petticoat Junction and Mr. Ed were my personal favorites. I loved that train on Petticoat Junction. I really, really loved Billie Jo, though.

Other good shows from the distant past: Sky King, Burke's Law and Peter Gunn.

MacGyver wasn't a lame show :shake: and Night Rider had the [censored]in Hoff :banger:
I watched all three of those along with the Dukes of Hazzard and The A-Team when I was a kid.

As far as sitcoms went, I watched Night Court for some reason. I always thought Bull was 8 feet tall too.
