A show I used to watch that hasn't been mentioned yet is Silver Spoons. Ricky Schroeder's debut role, I believe. My dad used to hate it.

I can't believe they made a movie spoof based on this lame ass show. My sister liked it and I was forced to watch it or go to bed to read. After watching 2 shows, I got into Stephen King.

Go back and re-watch them. I contend it was some of the best sci-fi writing ever on TV.

We got the DVD's from the library not too long ago. I don't know about the writing, but the acting and the special effects were horrible. When I was a kid I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
