That was actually more than a quote. That was the title of Woody's book. Sort of like "The Winner's Manual" that Coach Tressel wrote.

Actually, JT is very similar to Woody, minus the temper, of course!
And there's alot about both of them that few people outside of Ohio know due to media (mis)perceptions.

Indeed. IMO Woody's 'You Win With People' coupled with his 'Pay it Forward' phrase are akin to JT's Block O of Life.

If you have not read Woody's commencement speech wherein he talks about "Pay it Forward"...you should.

Man you all see that video on the site with me on there. Man thats crap, it was suppose to be LJ and not me. Its not about me its his small little time in the spotlight b4 anyone one of him comes along. Im not watching it. I hope its good but I feel so embrassed a by it.
Update on Joyner. Well they started Spring practice on Friday. he said he's doing great. Its well known down here that STA doesn't play kids both ways, well its changing this year. Coach said they are going to get the ball in his hands. Should put on a show on 8/29.

Yea I was going to say the same thing. I was suprised when I saw it cause I figured based on everything you've shown here on BP that you aren't the type to want the attention, and you want to keep it all on LJ. Im sure it's a good interview (can't access it), but I hate when sites pull that stuff with the family members or a kid's coach. These sites will pull whatever stunt they can to get information and to sell subscriptions.

I saw the video and I actually thought it was pretty good. I really didn't think that it made you look bad. It's also good to see the people closest to the recruits because it tells us a lot about the kids. Trust me, most Buckeye fans are interested in ANYTHING LJ related so we appreciated it.

So rivals drop him 3 spots b/c he didnt do the nike camp. They were pissed and still are right now b/c of that. I told them it was planned since Jan. not to do the Nike camp. It's not like he's getting paid to do it. Plus they thought he was grand standing b/c he went for the photo shoot for espn (espin) and just walked around field. Anywayz, i care less for rankings right now. I think if your in the top 500 you are a pretty good maybe great HS player. Just look at how many kids actually play HS ball. And to be considered in the 150 is pretty amazing to me.

Ranked #4 in the Sporting News top 100... Got calls from all over on Thurs. One example...The Bama coach called me and was like wow. He said LJ "Has it, maybe the number #1 ath period in the class." Like I always said, if you dont believe me or anyone else who has seen him play please go see him in person or just watch the games this yr on ESPN. If he stays healthy get ya popcorn ready b/c he's going to entertain.
He's playing CB mainly in practice right now. When Cody Riggs come over from track they are going to be running him a FS mainly but putting him at CB in certain packages. He's also going to be the top Wr on the team. On Thurs they said he caught a slant on Keion Payne (major Div 1 guy) ran up the middle and stop to make the two safties collide and then out ran B. Robinson (major Div 1 guy) to the end zone.

I'd say he is the number one target of several big time schools. It has to be a pretty exciting time in his life to have all of this attention and accolades coming from all over the country. You get in what you put out, and it certainly seems that LJ went all in from day one and is beginning to reap some serious benefits. Congrats to Lamarcus, I hope he enjoys the ride!:banger:
