OSUGRAD21, hey man it was nice meeting you at FNL. I wanted to talk with ya more doing the time we were eating but i can't catch you. Thanks for looking us up. It was a good pleasure. Your good peeps.
And OSU is my number #1 wish list now. Don't know if that will help or not. But I'm still Florida breed baby

Definitely good to meet you. We grabbed the plates and walked straight ahead instead of fighting to get back on the field...the kids wanted that pool and ended up with about 15 other campers splashing around until the hotel made them get out.

From the James Louis thread:

JWins posted
Dunkley dominated the camp and may have taken the WR spot. They have limited spots remaining and a lot of major prospects still out there. Rumors swirled about Louis committing to UF, but Dunkley may have taken his spot.

It's not like Louis is a leftover prospect either, he's a big time get. UF just chose to go in a different direction.

Since Dunkley doesn't appear to be going to FSU, does that factor into increasing our chances with LJ? Or was his desire to play with Dunkley in college not really a factor?

Personally, I think we recruiting fans put WAY too much stock in that kind of stuff...an elite ahtlete like Joyner is typically going to be concerned with the school that is the best fit for himself and not be worried about where anyone else is headed.

Uncertainty at FSU? I think rumors of Andrews' retirement are as numerous as Fred G. Sanford's near-miss heart attacks, but this is pretty strongly worded... either way, a certain highly-talented DB might want a little more certainty from his defensive coaches...

FSU defensive boss considers retirement

TALLAHASSEE - Mickey Andrews, as has been the case with his boss Bobby Bowden, won't put a definitive end date to a Florida State coaching career full of All-Americans and two national championships.
But the 26-year FSU defensive coordinator made his strongest statement yet in pointing to this season as his last. Andrews, during FSU's Media Day on Sunday, said this "could very well be" his final season.

"I said one year last year. This is the one year," said Andrews, who also coaches the defensive backs.

"I've got some things that I've got to get done with my family that I haven't been able to do coaching. When I get out of coaching, it won't be because I can't coach or don't want to coach, but I've got to do things that I owe my wife and my daughter and grandkids.

"And that could very well be what happens after this (year)...

Haven't heard too much on the recruiting front from Lemarcus. I guess we will find out a lot more when he comes to visit the Shoe on September 12th. I hope the boys are ready to put on a show. If OSU can regain the lead after the visit then we should have a great shot, if not then LJ is probably headed for FSU.

I think the people closest to the source and the best posters on this site have said more then anything it depends on the direction of the FSU team more then anything. Obviously we hope he has a great time here and we highlight all the great reasons to be a Buckeye but he is a young man with what seems to be a good head on his shoulders and good people looking out for him so I think FSU's direction has more to do with it then anything else.

Lamarcus already knows who will be his DB coach at FSU.

It will be Terrell Buckley.

The grad assistant that has never held a college coaching position? Don't be so sure. Jimbo might have his own ideas if he hires his DC a year early.

I would guess that the chances of a new DC bringing in his own staff are pretty high. It's at least something to think about if you're a recruit.

Jimbo has told recruits it will be Buckley.

The would/could part simply meant that your previous statement (Buckley ... 'will be his DB coach at FSU') seemed to contain no possibility of Joyner going somewhere besides FSU, and that the possibility does exist.
