Whoo Hooo!! Great win by the Lady Bucks in a tough environment.

Yes it was...

It was by far the loudest women's basketball game I've watched outside of Tennessee. I don't watch much women's basketball though....

The one girl, Allen, is a key player and I hope they continue to get her the ball.

OSU is up 47-44 with under 8 minutes left....

the only problem with Women's Basketball is that sometimes (and only sometimes) the color commentators have gone to the Joe Theismann School of Broadcasting and reacting to every play like it's the best play they've ever seen.

I understand being enthusiastic, but the lady doing color commentary tonight is as annoying as Dick Vitale on Mountain Dew and Red Bull....

I usually find it is less annoying when watching women's BB to turn the volume down for the duration. The heads in the studio are at least as irritating as the commentators at the game. Great win by the ladies though.:osu:

Iowa's center broke her hand in practice yesterday and is going to be out 2-4 weeks. She's their best player and also it's a huge mental blow for the team for something like that to happen a day before a big game, so that's a big reason Iowa hasn't been able to be more competitive today. Iowa must have some other injuries too because they said on the broadcast Iowa is down to only eight players.

Ohio State wins 85-49.

Senior center reaches milestone, OSU wins

By Rusty Miller

Associated Press

COLUMBUS - Jessica Davenport took advantage of an injury to Iowa's tallest player to score 22 points and lead the No. 5 Ohio State Buckeyes past the visiting Hawkeyes 85-49 on Sunday.
It was the Buckeyes' 26th win in a row at home, and it tied a school record. It was also OSU's 14th consecutive win since falling 75-51 at No. 9 LSU on Dec. 10, and 27th win in a row against Big Ten teams.
Davenport, the conference's top scorer and rebounder, also became only the second Big Ten player with 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.
