He commented on A&M upsetting Auburn but said nothing of OSU over Sparty. His team also lost in the first round of the high school playoffs. I think the ship has sailed and that's ok because OSU can refocus and find their guy and I hope he does well at UK.

What are you talking about?

I believe he said:

Hopefully Damien watched the game and saw what a dynamic, big back with speed can do in our offense with a Warriner coached OL (and I might add that on paper, the talent level will be way higher once Lisle, Knox, J. Jones, M. Jones, Trout, Taylor, Feder, and Schmidt develop). He could really fit in extremely well in our offense. This fight is far from over though...you know that Gibson, Hilliard, and Cornell will be working him hard...and of course the staff will knock down the doors as well. I have not seen anything yet that makes me thin this is over and still feel good about our position with him.

He was in the stands cheering and while he was there he watched some of the basketball team practice.
Why didn't you say so earlier?!?!?!?! :panic:

Good thing about Kentucky is you'll have more time to watch basketball as you're not preparing for a bowl game.
Edit: no disrespect for a kid staying and playing for the home team. Best of luck if that's the case, just pointing out the facts.

I have no problem with him staying at home to play for Kentucky. Early playing time is important.

It would be disappointing to see the SEC brand cited as a rationale for the decision though. The SEC East is an absolute joke this year; worse than either of the Big Ten divisions.
