The original thread was asking a hypothetical. So, yeah, if Krenzel plays well, there will be even more chirping about the QB coaching, and rightly so.

My own chirp...

Since 1999, QB, O-line, RB (except Clarett) production as been under OSU standards. This is either poor talent or poor coaching, or both.

Conversely, OSU's defense has been outstanding. I simply don't buy the possibility that all the defensive kids are good and the offensive kids are substandard. Ergo, it must be coaching, or coaching schemes.

Excellent point! -- look at all the QBs who are watching from the sidelines, and yet Craig "National Champ" Krenzel will (hopefully) start a game or two.

Hey, all he has to do is hang around the NFL for five years to qualify for a pension. There are some really bad quarterbacks in the nfl who have been drawing a paycheck for five years or more.

Will he be a star? Nah. Will he have a few good games?? Sure he will.

I am sure we all know why da Bears didn't sign Couch -- he probably came with a huge pay requirement.
