Especially when you go back and read how much he wanted Brady Quinn and how great he was going to be....hindsight is 20/20...we should have caved into Brady and given him top 10 type money for being picked 22nd b/c we gave up a future first for him...:lol:

I?ve said all along, that from a physical skill-set perspective, he?s a top-10 pick. But you have to buy into the kid; you either like the kid, or you don?t like the kid. In my first prolonged opportunity to sit down with him, I think he?s into football, I think he has a passion for the game. Now you have to figure out what his work ethic is and how much he loves the game.
The questions I have: Is he a leader of men, or, over a period of time, is he going to wear on people?

What do you do when your pro-day doesn't wow the scouts as you had intended?

You make excuses. Which is exactly what clausen is doing right now.

All we will hear from Domer Homer's is his toe isn't 100% and how that shouldn't hurt him. I think the toe injury coupled with the doubts it seems that other teams have about him already will push him down into the late first round.

and thankfully Phil Savage isn't here to fuck it up and trade a 1st rounder next year to bring in yet another spoiled and pamper Ntre ame QB.

Hell, Clausen has to be a great person then. I mean, when USC was under Carroll they were the shining star of the land, not one whisper of misconduct, attitude problems or big-ego's in his hey-day.

Look, I don't think Clausen is a bad QB. But you're riding his jock so hard that Clausen is probably feeling a little uncomfortable. And for a guy who has had this picture taken, it's a little awkward.
