So you believe that because Clausen fell to the second round it was a pretty good indicator that teams dont think he could get it done?

Yes? It shows that they don't think he can get it done like many thought.

And if you say he's not ready to play right away or something like that, I point to past examples. One as recent as Josh Freeman. It's clear that teams saw something in Clausen that made them think he couldn't get it done like many thought.

no, teams usually pass on players they think can get it done, especially franchises who sorely need QBs.

The truly entertianing part is watching Cleveland get hounded for their drafting, but not because of the Haden pick which most liked. I guess they didn't get the suicide note.

Maybe Jimmah will pan out, but there's no denying that the league didn't have enough faith in him. Instead, he fell to a draft slot filled by the Drew Stanton's of the world (actually he went 5 picks earlier in 07)

So Clausen falling to the second round meant he cant get it done or NFL people think he will have a hard time getting it done for whatever reason. Got it. Now I guess you would say that because McCoy was picked at the end of round three, and had the Browns not taken him there is no telling how far into the 4th he would have fallen, that you would actually still rather have Clausen because he was a 2nd round pick(and by your thinking)more likey to succeed than a third rounder? And that you would also say that a second rounder is better than a third so Clausen is better than McCoy?

You really need someone else to justify your man-crush don't you?
