Kevin (Tim “Asshat” Racadb) Warren (ex-B1G Commissioner)

The SEC’s Sankey has been proactively working to add Texas and Oklahoma, and working with ESPN to push the agenda for an expanded playoff, which will result in 4, 5, or 6 SEC teams usually making the 12-team playoff. That will diminish the impact the B1G has on college football, and over time make success for its teams more difficult.

This commissioner needs to take action now, joining with the other leagues to shut down playoff expansion. Keeping the playoff at 4 teams well beyond the next few years will make any move for Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC far less attractive, and could be a critical factor in preventing the SEC from becoming a larger monster in the college football world.

Well said. The sad thing is that Warren probably is not capable of organizing a piss up in a brewery.

League commissioner Kevin Warren spoke Thursday to kick off Big Ten Media Days. Part of that speaking engagement: talking about the procedures in place for this season. Warren said the Big Ten hasn’t decided on whether missed games will be forfeits or what the testing procedures will be.

Re: Warren said the Big Ten hasn’t decided......

Advice for Warren....

Of the broad strategic options available to the B1G at this time, "do nothing" isn't fucking one of them.

You can block CFP expansion to buy some time but then you have to do something.

The 'rest of America vs the rednecks' thing is shaping up so easily, just go make it happen.
The B1G has an opportunity to look like the good guy in all of this and to turn this whole thing back on ESPNSEC. I bet the B1G pisses it away.
