Hey now...he’ll have you know it’s 14.His 12 Bosses think he’s a genius. So Warren is all good. The superior intellect of the 12 presidents are above answering the masses.

Big Ten won't revisit decision to postpone fall sports, Kevin Warren says
Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren on Wednesday released an open letter to the conference community stating the vote by the Big Ten's Council of Presidents and Chancellors was "overwhelmingly in support of postponing fall sports and will not be revisited."
"The decision was thorough and deliberative, and based on sound feedback, guidance and advice from medical experts," Warren wrote in his first public comments since announcing the league's decision on Aug. 11. "Despite the decision to postpone fall sports, we continue our work to find a path forward that creates a healthy and safe environment for all Big Ten student-athletes to compete in the sports they love in a manner that helps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protects both student-athletes and the surrounding communities."

It’s too late. He needs some serious help to come out of this one. It’s textbook for how to mismanage a situation. I think he has made a name for himself that will be hard to shake. Before we burn this guy at the stake, let's consider that he's brand new. On something like this, even Delaney wasn't going to make a solo decision and have the Presidents go along with it. Warren doesn't have anywhere near Delaney's amount of clout and political capital built up, so I think he's essentially the mouthpiece (and potential fall guy) on this, not the driving force behind it, and this might explain why communication out of the conference office has been spotty at best. He's trying to corral 14 different university Presidents each answering to different constituencies and boards and dealing with different home state political forces (OK, not Northwestern in the latter case).
Is it a clusterfuck? Yes. Is Warren the fucker or just another fuckee trying to work through the situation?
