Juniors - who stays and who goes?

Even though there will be a big turn over of personnel, I look at it as a positive because of the team attitude. Bring in the talented, hungry pups!
They will surprise with how well they will do next year!

Coleman.

He's short and still too light! Is more a corner.

Coleman is 5'11" and 190.

Here are the height and weight stats for the six safeties selected for the Pro Bowl:

Nick Collins, Green Bay (FS): 5'11", 207
Adrian Wilson, Arizona (SS): 6'3", 230
Brian Dawkins, Philadelphia (FS): 6'0", 210
Ed Reed, Baltimore (FS): 5'11", 200
Troy Polamalu, Pittsburgh (SS): 5'10", 207
Chris Hope, Tennessee (SS): 6'0", 208

Aside from Wilson, they're all about the same height as Coleman (two an inch taller, two the same height, and one an inch shorter), and they're only 10-20 pounds heavier. And that's assuming Coleman's weight is up to date.

I would think with the young receiver talent that we have that Brian H may want to go ahead and exit. As was mentioned before, can he really improve that much to make a significant different. He's a possession receiver in the Pros (at best).

Assuming the NFL weights are right, also. Coleman just doesn't look 190. He's not a Bob Sanders or Ed Reed. Those guys are run force guys. Coleman is not strong against the run. He's great in space and covering. If he started the season at 190, he's probably less by now! He's a corner playing safety in my opinion. I haven't seen a NFL evaluation of him, yet.
Here's one that doesn't sound so good. Fifth rounder..............................

There are a lot of opposing RBs who would probably disagree....

Yeah, many non-linemen players lose weight during the season... :roll1:

Naw, Bucky Lee picks on everybody, didn't you know? Regarding Coleman, remember it's 'Not the size of the dog in the fight, but the amount of fight in the dog'. Someone will correct me, I'm sure, but thought Coleman made the field because he was a sure tackler, and there were two-three better corners ahead of him, and safety is easier to play, not the reverse.....

Maybe he slides into corner this year, and one of the other guys takes his place at safety, what do you think? A year of successful CB under his belt would enhance his draft status above the 5th round, methinks (flexibility and all that).
