JUCO DT Jamar King (Alabama Signee)

Gentleman, I apologize for my actions on this board. The excitement of having one of my former players playing for my childhood favorite school got the best of me. Its a hard lesson to learn and I will definitely use more tact when im in this situation.

I don't think you have anything to apologize for here. I appreciate the fleeting glimpse into the real world of recruiting.

No worries. Please keep posting.

As for King, I hope he gets beyond any misunderstandings and sees the opportunity to play right away at OSU. He'd be a perfect 3 technique in OSU's scheme, following a guy who will be a high NFL draft choice this year. One of MANY top NFL defensive linemen developed by Larry Johnson (including the likely #1 overall pick this year). I don't see any problem with you pointing that out. OSU is an elite program and it isn't often they have a hole in the lineup like they do at the 3 this year. It's perfect for King who, at his age, wants to get on the field immediately.

Total speculation here. Is he being slow played by both tOSU and Bama? I can't imagine we would but yet it seems like the staff would be torn if they could take Hardman or Hamlin for the last spot compared to King. I certainly line the idea of King coming in and he might be a first take but it poses an interesting question: assuming 25 and Fuller and Harrison being in does it make it first to commit between Hardman, Hamlin and King for the last spot or is there a pecking order?
