Athletic and long, Barajas can run and get to a lot of places on the football field. He is very comfortable in space and has good feet and quickness. He can play in a variety of roles: over the tight end and over a slot. He shows the athleticism to drop into coverage and can come forward as an edge rusher. Does a nice job getting around blocks. He's a long, lean kid right now and must continue to get stronger. - Allen Trieu

24/7 $ - Top247 LB Josh Barajas Offered By Ohio State Buckeyes

Geez talk about owning it right now. Not going to lie I'm getting pretty anxious with no commits and Penn State going off.

Also makes me even more upset about the conference alignment. Penn State will be tough again soon, scum, scum state, and us. 4 of the top 6 programs in one division is bogus.

They'll still be bad/average in 2014, and probably 2015 as well, but I agree starting in 2016 (particularly if Hackenberg stays for his senior season) they'll be improved. I'm just not sure if they'll have enough depth in 2015 (and they sure as hell don't in 2014).

Patience grasshopper. Franklin is sprinting, ala Hoke. He knows if he doesn't start off fast, he's screwed. Recruiting is a marathon. Franklin won't hold onto everyone he gets commitments from ( see Roby, Bradley).

As far as the divisions go, we want the best schedule we can get year in and year out. Having tsun and msu in our division is great for Ohio State. In fact, i would love to get Nebraska or Wiscy as a permanent crossover, with tsun no longer in the other division. Bring the ruckus.

Franklin is doing what has been stated, he's like getting a new, used car. The car is great when you first get it, and you overlook that the radio doesn't work and the transmission needs replacing because you have power windows and and seat wArmers. Franklin did little at Vandy, I'm not saying he won't do much at Ped st, but he's just a student of the relentless recruiting teachings in the SEC. It should be no surprise what he's doing. It may seem a little nerve wrecking because the Big 10 actually has another coach that... Puts forth effort in recruiting! Franklin doesn't sit in his office waiting for kids to commit, he goes after them like our staff does. But his track record isn't the best, he's doing recruiting with energy and smoke and mirrors. Let's see what he does on the field, especially when one of PSU's best recruiters and coaches is a Buckeye.

I too expect some players to defect. Especially when they aren't that great this upcoming season.

This is off topic but I agree I want the toughest schedule possible too but I'm more pissed off that Nebraska and Wisconsin have a literal one game season. How is that fair? I want the representative of the BIG to be because they earned it not because they won one game and then got lucky against a worn out opponent in the championship game.

If you guys are hoping that every marginal OOS player with an "offer" hoops on board, you just don't understand the recruiting game. There are a core group of guys that the coaches have identified that you hear about the most, and then there are the satellite, plan B types. No offense to Barajas, but with Ohio filled with so many great LB prospects this year, he's about as plan B as they come.
