I would've agreed with you a few years back, but take that idiot PSU fan base and add the unrelenting worship of Paterno even after the Freeh report and add to that a new coach who's doing his best impression of Bret Beilema when it comes to ridiculous bravado, and this flip is a total win if you ask me.

It shows that if there is a top elite football program/university in-state, the recruit will pick that school. That is also the case here. If a top recruit leaves the state, it is usually the next state over which is very close. All of Franklin's recruits are from the home state of PA, or next states over like NJ or MD.
