Unless he's throwing up one hell of a smoke screen (not out of the question) he's headed to LSU.
Definately seems that way. Oh well, would have liked to have landed him but I have a feeling we'll be OK.:wink2:

Of course the way his recruitment has gone he may still be headed to C-Bus...who knows.

This kid has played OSU from the get go if you ask me.

OSU has always been one of his favorites, ever since the beginning.

It was OSU vs. Michigan, then OSU vs. Texas, then OSU vs. ND, and so on.

Now its LSU.

Like I said a long time ago, kids like this rarely end up here, and they also rarely work out in college.

Stanley McGlover was a pretty good player and so was that Dwayne Jarrett kid. Even Fred Davis is coming on. So I don't think this is necessarily true.

And therefore, if he's "already told the other two schools" of his decision, then our coaching staff has moved on and are already making new plans accordingly.

So in that I can take comfort. :ohwell: ...sky, not falling...the Ohio State University Football will still existing in '07.

Whew! I feel better.

I know it's a little hard to accept what may happen here, but let's not forget that it is Barksdale's decision to do what he wants, no matter what he told anyone along the way... I just hope that our staff starts to learn that we can't bank on these kids' word anymore...
And for those who don't understand how LSU could come out of nowhere (so to speak) and get JB, let's not forget who their head coach is... Les Miles is a Michigan alum (may have even been a former teammate of one of Barksdale's coaches, not sure on that) and has several connections in Michigan... JB's H.S. coaches have been very pro-Michigan all along, and with some of the comments I've heard from his coaches, they were no doubt (in my mind at least) trying to sell him on the idea of playing for a former Michigan guy...

I find it funny that kids "like this" are frowned upon...unless they choose tOSU in the end. Ginn, Mitchum, Lawrence Wilson, and Alex Boone must all be rarities who will not work out.

Joseph has every right to enjoy this process and make the choice that is best for him...just because it may not be tOSU does not make him any less of a player or person.

Don't know the whole story or any behind the scenes information, but if the kid has told the coaches multiple times he was going to be a Buckeye then at the last minute decided he is not, I think that is more then "enjoying thee recruiting process".

Maybe I am in the minority, I think a kid should take his time and enjoy his visits and if he is not sure where he wants to go yet, don't tell the coaches you are going there. I guess I place too high a value on mean and do what you say.

Again this might not apply to JB, not sure what he has told the coaches if anything.

You're right...how dare he make the best decision for himself.
