Joe Flacco (Baltimore Ravens)

Honestly, I don't give a fuck about Joe fucking Flacco. I'm just tired of seeing his name in a Buckeye legends thread.

So I started this thread, and all the "unbiased" guys can throw up stats and talk about how fucking cool he is, and maybe I don't have to see his name pop up in every fucking post in Troy's thread. That's my dream anyway.

Also, I wanted this thread in place so that when Joe Flacco's carreer is over in about five seasons, I can come here and laugh at everyone that said how fuckin' awesome he was!

Just going to drop it now before it gets heated. :wink2:

Joe Flacco sucks Ray Lewis' balls. That's what Ed Reed said on his blog anyway. Well, I'm pretty sure he was talking about Flacco, because he said "That's when that douchey, shitty quarterback came in and started licking Ray's balls, right there in the locker room. You know who I'm talking about. That overrated piece of shit from Delaware St. The one that probably wouldn't even be starting if Troy Smith hadn't gotten sick. That's right, the guy with mediocre numbers getting all kinds of credit because he has a nasty defense."

There were rumors flying around that Flacco was going to be starting before the end of the season even with a healthy Troy.

I don't see why the Ravens wouldn't have played Troy if they thought he gave them the best chance to win. They saw something they liked in Flacco, apparently. Troy is a young guy. If he was blowing them away in practice, it's not like he's old and is going to be a question mark like a Brett Favre.

All I know is that Flacco did much better than he's getting credit for on here. Troy is my favorite Buckeye ever, but IMO Joe did what he needed to do to solidify himself as the starter. I hope Troy get a shot elsewhere for sure. I'd love to see him in SF.

I thought Troy was leading the competition for the starting job until he came down with the illness. Whoever said Flacco was "going to be starting by the end of the blah blah blah" is a fucking idiot. There's no fucking way anyone could know that. They wouldn't have yanked Troy if he was setting the world on fire.

My problem isn't that Troy didn't start. My problem is that he got "robbed" of his chance. Not by Joe Fucco, not by the ravens, but by a freak illness. I think that's what makes it hard to stomach for most Buckeye fans. Not that Troy isn't starting, but how shit went down. Go look in any other Buckeye's thread that is now sitting on a bench in the NFL. They had their chance, that's all you can ask for. Troy still hasn't had "his chance" in my opinion. And THAT is what pisses me off.

I don't think Joe is as good as his defenders are making him out to be either, but what the fuck ever. I don't care enough about him to waste anymore posts.

I just got tired of Troy's thread being about Joe Whateverthefuck.

I agree that they wouldn't have pulled Troy if he were torching secondaries. The reason I've seen Joe Flacco a decent amount this year is because I hope to see Troy at some point during the game. But, I watch and Joe has looked pretty solid most of the time.

It does suck that he was robbed of his chance by a freak illness.. but again, if Troy were separating himself as the best QB in practices after he got healthy, I don't see why the Ravens wouldn't play him (or at least drastically increase his role in the offense).

I doubt Troy wants to be a backup for his career, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him go somewhere to compete for a starting job. There are always a few teams out there. I'd like to see him not play for the Ravens, too. It's almost as bad as Jay Richardson playing for the Raiders. :sick1:
