This may come as news to you, but there's a lot of mediocre-to-good QBs that have won a Super Bowl, so let's not overstate Joe's ability based on winning. The fact that he won a Super Bowl doesn't make him any less of a clown for thinking he's the best QB in the league.

Yards (14th)
Yards/game (17th)
TDs (15th)
Rating (14th)
Completion percentage (18th)
Care to try again?

Seriously dude, he won the [censored]ing MVP of the Super Bowl and you're making sound like he was just along for the ride. He and a couple other players carried that team, because the defense sure as hell didn't.
I already said I didn't think he was even top 5. But again, if I have a QB who is above average, I want him to think he's the best. Why wouldn't you? Why would you want a guy who doesn't have all the confidence in the world in his ability to perform? That would make him a clown.
buckeyesin07;2314355; said:Check post #141--that'll clearly come as news to you, given your post. And stats like that, showing Flacco to be a middle-of-the-road QB in the NFL, make him a clown when he says he's the best.
Look, if you want to pat the guy on the back and recharacterize his ridiculous, unsubstantiated bravado as something you want in a QB, by all means, you're free to do so. But, as I said, let's not act like he's something he's not just b/c he happened to be a member of a team that won a Super Bowl.
I have stats on my side. You just have the same tired argument that goes something like, "But, but he won a Super Bowl!" Color me unimpressed for Flacco's "accomplishing" something that Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson have done.
matcar;2314356; said:The facts also state his incredible post season record but you don't post that because it doesn't support your argument. That might be the most important stat of all. But continue on with this silly little game.
