Charlie Weiss is God. Brady Quinn came close, but Jimmy is Jesus redux.

Not to veer too far of topic, but I don't think JZ was put in optimal position to be successful. When he was elevated to starting QB in '04, we had a swiss cheese OL, zero running game and playcalling that left a lot to be desired. That 2004 squad was decimated by graduation. Unfortunately for Justin, The team started to hit it's stride just as Troy was beginning to show flashes of the player he would become. I think his struggles in early '04 did some damage to his confidence, which can ge devistating for a young QB at a major, high visibility program. Given the right situation, and sourrounded by the right personnel, I think Zwick may have lived up to all that promise. Now here's the Claussen tie-in. The situation he's stepping into at Notre _ame looks a lot like the Buckeyes circa 2004. We'll see if Charlie can resist throwing all that promise to the lions.BucyrusBuckeye;683591; said:Look at Zwick. he was purported to be the second coming out of high school. Now we actually feel sorry for him but he got a lot out of the experience. Were the expectations from the media too high? Apparently.
