Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
SEC fan bases — and, occasionally, coaches — like to remind everyone else which league is the toughest in the nation, and it seems that Fisher is referencing either Clemson, Ohio State or both with that comment. Clemson has won the ACC six years in a row, while the Buckeyes have won the Big Ten four straight times.
Fisher said back in December that he would prefer an eight-team format for the CFP and that he didn't even mind the two-team BCS model previously used.
“Here’s the crazy part: I liked having two teams originally,” Fisher said on the Paul Finebaum Show. “The four is great and all that, but I do think right now — we’re having hypotheticals. And there’s so many opinions.
"I always say this and you’ve got to remember. Alabama won two national championships and didn’t even win their own division. Getting into a playoff, getting into these things — to get the right teams in, the only way you’re going to find out who’s better is put them on the field together. We can debate in a room and look at stats, this, and numbers, point differential and game control, but to me, you’ve got to do it. So maybe getting the five conference champions, maybe getting the next three best teams, somehow, someway, getting eight teams on the field.”

Just sayin': Jimbo doesn't really care how many teams are in the CFPs as long as his team is one of them......
